How Time Works In-Roleplay
1 in-rp hour will equal one full day in real-time.
When 24 in-rp hours pass (24 Days Real Life), the season will change.
1 Year in roleplay = 4 seasons.
The date will therefore be displayed the following way:
01 (Season - Newleaf) / 01 (Year - 1st Year)
The Gathering
The Gathering will happen once per season, taking up 4 Days Real Time. However, depending on drama at the time, it may be shortened or lengthened as dictated by the plot and the Roleplayers involved.
Growing Up
Upon creating a character, you will be given a 'Date of Creation' or 'Date of Birth'. If your character is an apprentice or a kit, then please keep track of this. It will be important.
Kithood lasts for one in-game season. It is during this season that the Queen is feeding her kits through producing milk. So long as this Queen, the kit's mother, remains alive, or a surrogate is found, they will not starve. If the mother passes away, you will need to find another queen, who is lactating, who can provide milk. If all of a Queen's kits pass away, she will still be able to produce milk, except if the roleplayer of said Queen decides that her milk has dried up.
Adolescents, or Apprentices, are technically supposed to be 6-moons old, but in this Roleplay are 1 Season. Apprenticeship would last for another full season. After this they can be made warriors - barring any serious injury or disciplinary action.
Once they reach 'adulthood', aka they recieve their warrior name, they are bounced up to being 12 Moons old. From this point on, for each season that passes (each 24 day cycle) they will age 4 Moons.
Roughly, by the time a character reaches 80 Moons, they can, and probably should, become Elders.
