1. Minimum post length is 100 words; that's basically a paragraph. It's not too hard to get. And more than this is always preferred!
2. Roleplay posts should be made from 3rd Point Perspective. What is that, you ask? Well...
NO: I went down to the side of the lake to drink...
NO: They went down to the side of the lake to drink...
YES: Brambletail went down to the side of the lake to drink...
3. Meta-Gaming is a no no. This means that you are constantly editing posts to make the outcome better for you, surviving obvious killing blows, etc. This is not to say you cannot edit mistakes in posts, but if you do it every time, we might become a little suspicious.
4. Whenever your character becomes pregnant, seriously injured, made an apprentice or a warrior - please update the staff. There is a nifty thread for it and everything - so please! It lets us know how to update the side and keep on top of everything.
5. It is not required, even preferred, if you don't make your posts look super fancy. The point of this roleplay is the content of the writing itself - not the fact that it has pretty colors or, well - anything like that. It also helps for people who are replying from different devices and generally makes the site easier to navigate. While character tables can be gorgeous, please keep them to your character library itself and don't use them in the roleplay sections.
6. In general, cats can only carry so much in their mouths; be they herbs or prey. For the sanity of all involved, they can only carry three (3) herbs and one (1) piece of fresh prey.
7. In this roleplay, killing is an inevitability. While we all want our characters to live until their Elder years, this is not going to likely be the case. Because there is no limit to the number of characters you can make, this should not be a problem; but when your character is dead, they are dead - or, unless in special circumstances, only allowed to interact with other Starclan members IN Starclan.
8. When battling or fighting another cat or animal, if there is no response within 1 Real Life Week (7 Days), your character has lost the fight. Your opponent shall hold your fate in their paws - so please, try to remember what happens if you are in a battle. Unless, of course, you post in a Vacation's thread.
