Look for the Golden Lining
Appearance:
The cats of Birchclan are varied in the colors of their pelt, although most of them are tabby cats, or cats with light grey and shades of brown. They are more likely to be small and lanky, with powerful hind legs and roughened pads. They are not likely to have long fur; but are primarily thin-coated with long whiskers. There are, however, exceptions to the rule.
Naming Themes:
Lots of Birchclan cats tend to name their kits after types of weather, or earthy names. A few of them are given the theme of tree names, but they tend to stay away from naming their kits after flowers, or herbs. There are a lot of clan members who have been named for birds.
Preferred Prey:
-- Groundhogs
-- Weasels
-- Hare/Rabbits
-- Doves
-- Lizards
Common Predators:
-- Condors
-- Coyotes
-- Eagles
-- Dogs
-- Falcons
The Pros:
Birchclan cats pride themselves on being the smartest cats in all the clans. They know how to adapt to living with lots of different creatures in their territory, and will fiercely protect the land that is there's. They can be tricky cats to talk to, as they love nothing better than pulling pranks and showing off their superior mental powers by being exceedingly tricky.
The Cons:
Out of all the clan territories, Birchclan is the one who has to share most of their land with Twolegs. They are constantly put against traps placed by the devious humans, or are forced to watch members fade off with loners, or giving up the hard life to become a Kittypet.
It's hardest for them to make friends with other clans, as they tend to push their thoughts on anyone, which can be really hard for other cats' to stand.
